Career Opportunities
Looking to make a difference in the community? Drumm Farm is in need of an additional part-time K-12 teacher.
Our K-8 learning interventions focus on reading and math, and we support students in 6th-12th grade across content as needed in their school coursework.
Teachers must hold a current MO teaching certificate and apply through the Independence School District. Our teachers provide intervention and/or tutoring support to 1-2 students per group after school on the main Drumm Farm campus (3210 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Indep. MO). Teacher schedules are flexible with 3-4 hours, 2-4 days per week between the hours of 2:30-6:00, depending on intervention age groups, and no Fridays.
This is a great part-time work setting for either retired, or current teachers seeking part-time or after school employment. Call or email our Education Director, Kathy Wilson, at 816-408-4928 or kathy.wilson@drummfarm.org for additional information.
