COMPASS Program + New Beginnings
Our COMPASS Program provides transitional housing for youth between the ages of 17-22. We measure success by the stability, confidence, and independence our young people build as they move forward. In this season, those outcomes are worth celebrating. Over the past year, 96% of the youth who went through the Drumm COMPASS Program successfully moved out and secured safe and stable housing. 84% of those young people were able to obtain housing without the need for ongoing subsidies, demonstrating their readiness to sustain independence. 92% of participants who completed our program also left with a diploma in hand. These are clear indicators that they are stepping into independence with momentum and purpose.
Beyond housing, our youth achieved milestones that change the trajectory of their lives. 18 young people left with reliable transportation, opening doors to employment, education, and stability. Others earned professional certifications like CNA credentials, enrolled in college or trade programs, joined Habitat for Humanity builds, and secured promotions or new jobs. Several graduated high school and continued on to college, barber school, medical training, or joined the military, while others celebrated the arrival of new babies alongside meaningful career progress. These moments, both big and small, represent resilience, growth, and hope in action.
None of this happens in isolation. These successes are made possible through the dedication of our staff and the unwavering support of our donors, board members, and community partners. Your belief in our mission helps young people not just find housing, but build lives filled with stability, opportunity, and self-determination. Thank you for walking alongside Drumm Farm and the youth we serve. Your impact is real, lasting, and deeply felt.
