A Message from our Executive Director - Brad Smith
I recently informed the Drumm Farm Board of Directors of my intent to retire on May 1, 2026. I have been so honored to lead this organization for the past 15 years; it has been an amazing journey.
Andrew Drumm founded this organization in 1919 with a mission singularly focused on serving vulnerable youth often overlooked by society. He challenged us to build sustainable and effective approaches to nurture young people who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
Andrew Drumm’s founding principles have guided my efforts for the last 15 years buoyed by an incredible team of skilled and passionate board members, staff members, donors, and supporters. Together we have created an amazing growth in Drumm’s mission.
I am profoundly grateful for every member of the Drumm family, and honored by the trust you placed in me to lead it. Julie and I thank you sincerely for your contributions to Drumm’s mission, and to our lives.
The Drumm Farm Board of Directors will initiate a search process for the organization’s next leader this month. This transition marks a time for new leadership, an updated vision, and a renewed commitment to a mission established 107 years ago. While my tenure as Executive Director ends, I will continue to support the vital work of Drumm Farm in any way that I can, and I hope each of you do the same.
