Our mission is to provide nurturing and inclusive services and environments that inspire and yield the lifelong success of children, young adults, and families.
Our vision is to help children in foster care and young adults who are homeless or aged out of foster care build successful lives by providing programs and services that promote physical and emotional well-being, educational success, and personal development.

Educational Support
Children lose 3-6 months in educational attainment for every involuntary move in the system, and on average in Missouri, children move 3-4 times annually.
Only 25% of children test at their grade level when they arrive at Drumm. Because of our Educational Intervention program, after one year at Drumm, 80% test at or above grade level.

Life After Youth Homelessness
Last year, over 1,200 youth experiencing homelessness applied for transitional living through Drumm Farm’s shared TLP application — but there were only 120 spots available across the entire Kansas City metro.
At Drumm Farm, outcomes matter. 92% of youth in our COMPASS Transitional Living Program successfully transition into stable housing, maintain steady employment, and secure reliable transportation — empowering them to move forward with independence and confidence.
Mental Health
Every youth at Drumm Farm has access to free personalized counseling with licensed therapists on-site.
